Ingredients

1 can (400g) pie apple
1 can (375ml) NESTLÉ CARNATION Light & Creamy Evaporated Milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/4 cup (55g) caster sugar
2 tbsp custard powder
2 eggs lightly beaten
topping:
1/2 cup (45g) uncle tobys traditional oats
1/2 cup (40g) shredded coconut
30 g butter melted
1 tbsp golden syrup

Method

  • 1

    preheat oven to 180ºc/160°c fan forced. divide pie apple between 6 x 1/2 cup (125ml) ovenproof dishes.

    combine NESTLÉ CARNATION light & creamy evaporated milk, vanilla, sugar, custard powder and eggs in a saucepan, over low heat; whisk to combine. stir continuously until custard just thickens; pour over apple.

    combine uncle toby’s traditional oats, coconut, butter and golden syrup; mix well. divide amongst dishes.

    bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden.
