Ingredients

2 tbsp butter
4 slices thick bread
1 can (410g) pears drained and sliced
2 tbsp sultanas
1 3/4 cup (110g) NESTLÉ milk melts
1 can (375ml) NESTLÉ CARNATION Light & Creamy Evaporated Milk
4 eggs
1/4 cup (55g) caster sugar

Method

    preheat oven to 180°c/160°c fan forced. grease a 6 cup (1.5l) capacity ovenproof dish.

  • 2

    spread butter over bread slices; cut each into 4 triangles; arrange in prepared dish. arrange pear over top then sprinkle over sultanas and nestlÉ milk melts.

    whisk together CARNATION light & creamy evaporated milk, eggs and sugar; pour over bread and stand 5 minutes.

  • 4

    bake 45 minutes, remove and cool slightly before serving.
